A J Mayr have sucessfully completed the mechanical construction of 600MW Power Plant at the Colongra site near Munmorah on the Central Coast, achieving practical completion sign off on 2nd December 2009.
A J Mayr scope was the mechanical installation of for GT13E2 Gas Turbines and associated balance of plant items.
The Project has had an 14 month duration and the plant was commissioned in September 2009.
Key Challenges

As A J Mayr's first Gas Fired Power Plant Construction, we have found the tolerances and technical specifications challenging.
- Maintaining efficiencies and utilisations with a fluid workforce.

Maintaining the program with the uncertainty of inclement weather and a site with multiple interfaces.
- Implementation of a Plant and Equipment maintenance program minimising downtimes and ensuring availabilities.
