Arnold appointed Group General Manager

Brett Arnold has been appointed Group General Manager, A J Mayr.

Mr Arnold has been with the company 10 years and his initiative and performances have seen him steadily rise through the ranks.

A J Mayr Chief Executive Officer and owner Kumar Perumal said Mr Arnold's appointment recognised the significant contribution he had made to the company.

"When I purchased the company in 2001 Brett was already in a managerial position," Mr Perumal said.

"His knowledge of the industry and his commitment to delivering on-time and on-budget projects have always stood out."

"Along with his focus on safety and commitment to the staff, Brett has always stood out as a leader and I look forward to working extremely closely with him well into the future."

As Group General Manager, Mr Arnold will be the company's front line executive and manager of major projects.

Mr Arnold has vast expertise in engineering manufacturing and project management. He has in depth knowledge of pressure and cryogenic vessel design and construction, as well as construction of major projects in the mining and transport sectors.

Projects he has overseen for A J Mayr include the Woodside Offshore Platform Exhaust Stack, Lucas Heights Nuclear Reactor Vessels and Piping Supply Project, and construction of the Spencer Street, Melbourne, Railway Station Project.
