Team completes assignment in Pakistan
A J Mayr Engineering has successfully completed a repair and refurbishment project for BOC Pakistan at its Port Qasim facility in Karachi.
A team from the Australian company flew to Pakistan to complete the five-week project on a Cold Box.
A J Mayr is an international fabrication and construction company based at Tomago, near the port of Newcastle in the Hunter region of NSW.
A J Mayr General Manager Brett Arnold said initial logistical issues such as language barriers had been overcome with the appointment of a translator and security professionals for his team.
“We put in a total 1600 man hours on the assignment,” Mr Arnold said.
“This was an example of our ability to quickly respond to customers’ needs anywhere in the world and deliver the outcome required.”
